Why Trident
Done properly, or not at all
Detailing is one of those trades where the shortcuts do not show up until three months later. We would rather do it right the first time.
We come to the boat
Slip, lift, yard, storage lot, or your own driveway. You do not have to move the boat, change your plans, or hand over a key and hope. The work happens where the boat already is.
Priced by the foot, quoted honestly
Length sets the baseline, then condition and the services you want move it from there. You get one clear number before anything starts, and it does not change halfway through.
Any boat, any size
Center consoles, bowriders, cruisers, pontoons, sportfish, sailboats, and jet skis. Twenty footers and sixty footers get the same attention and the same standard.
Straight answers about what is possible
Some oxidation comes all the way back and some does not. Some mildew lifts and some has gone too far. You will hear which one you are looking at before the work starts, not after.
Our work
Sea Hunt center console, Atlantic City
Upholstery deep cleaned with a mildew treatment, then conditioned and UV protected. T-top frame cut and polished back to a mirror. Same boat, same visit.

AfterWhere we go
South Jersey and the shore
Trident runs out of Swedesboro and travels to the boat. Through the season most of the work is at the shore, where the boats are, but the Delaware River marinas and driveways in between get the same service.

Boat on a trailer? We still come to you.
Plenty of the best boats around here never see a slip. If you tow to the ramp and back, keep the boat on a trailer at the house, or pull it home for the off season, we will detail it right where it sits. Driveways, yards, and storage lots are all fair game.
Questions
Straight answers
Do you come to the boat, or does it have to be brought to you?
We come to the boat. Trident is a fully mobile operation, so we work in the slip, on the lift, on the hard in the yard, or on the trailer at your house. Tell us where it sits and we will come to it.
What areas do you cover?
Trident is based in Swedesboro and works throughout South Jersey. Most of the season is spent at the shore, from Long Beach Island south through Barnegat, Atlantic City, Brigantine, Somers Point, Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, the Wildwoods, and Cape May. We also work the Delaware River marinas around Salem, Pennsville, and Elsinboro Point, and will travel further for the right job.
How much does a detail cost?
Detailing is priced by the foot, then adjusted for condition and the services you want. A boat that has been waxed every season prices very differently from one with heavy chalking. Call, text, or send a few photos and you will get a straight number.
What is the Trident Signature Wash?
It is the core deep clean and the starting point for most topside work. Full wash down, deck and non-skid cleaning, stainless and metal polishing, isinglass cleaning and polishing, and upholstery cleaning and conditioning. It can stand alone as a refresh or run ahead of compounding, waxing, or coating.
Can you fix chalky, faded gel coat?
Usually, yes. Oxidation is the dull, chalky film that comes off on your hand. Compounding cuts through it, polishing brings the gloss back, and then wax or a ceramic coating locks it in. Once oxidation goes deep enough to reach the pigment layer the results start to vary, so we will tell you honestly what to expect before we start.
Do you work on boats kept on a trailer at home?
Yes. Plenty of our work is done in driveways and yards. If you trailer your boat to and from the beach, pull it home for the off season, or just keep it parked at the house, we will come to you and detail it right where it sits.
Do you offer recurring maintenance?
Yes. Maintenance plans are built around how you use the boat, whether that is a wash down every couple of weeks through the season, a mid summer refresh, or a wax and coating schedule. Once the finish is right, keeping it that way costs far less than bringing it back.
Do you shrink wrap boats for winter?
Yes. We shrink wrap for the off season and come back in the spring to remove and dispose of the wrap. We do not do mechanical winterization such as engine or water system work, so line that up with your mechanic or marina.
Do you work on any size or type of boat?
Center consoles, bowriders, cruisers, pontoons, sportfish, sailboats, jet skis, and everything in between. If it floats, we will take a look at it.

Tell us about the boat
Every boat is priced by the foot, so the quote depends on length, condition, and what the finish needs. Send a few photos with your request and you will get a real number back, not a guess.
